We were notified by WCA Waste, our trash service provider, that the trash pick up and recycling collection schedules would return to normal as of the week of April 20, 2020.We than you for your patience and cooperation while they had to scale back services during a labor shortage due to COVID 19, as well as working to protect their workers throughout the CV19 pandemic.
As a reminder, trash service schedule in Oak Park Trails is as follows:
TUESDAYS – Regular household trash pick up. Must be in the large blue roll out bins to be collected curbside (no loose bags or items at curb)
TUESDAYS – Recycling pick up. Must be in the large gray roll out bins to be collected.curbside.
FRIDAYS – Regular Household trash pick up. Place large blue roll out bins curbside for collection. Loose bags of trash placed next to the cans will also be collected including yard waste.
Fridays – Other loose trash/Heavy trash is collected on Fridays as well. Be sure heavy trash and tree or yard waste complies with the guidelines from the WCA Waste Corp website (see link)

Heavy trash should not be put at the curb until late in the day on Thursday afternoon/evening.
Bagged yard waste/grass clippings should not be at the curb until late in the day on Thursday afternoon/evening.
Please also remember that Oak Park Trails Deed Restrictions state that your trash and recycling cans must be stored in an area not visible from the street. If your cans are stored in front of your garage, on the side of your house, or any other area where they can be seen from the street, you could be cited for a Deed Restriction violation and receive a letter regarding the violation from our management company.
