SOLICITATION FOR THREE CANDIDATES TO SERVE ON THE ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE
Highland Knolls Community Association is currently looking for three (3) homeowners to serve on the Architectural Control Committee. The purpose of this committee is to review and approve or deny submissions made by homeowners for external changes to their property. Approval of submissions are based on the current Architectural Guidelines in place for the community. Prior experience serving on an ACC is welcomed but not required. In-person meetings are not required. Review of submissions and the decision on the submissions is done online through a Crest Management program that is accessible from the Crest Management homeowner portal. This is not an elected position. The Board of Directors appoints the homeowners to the position and there is no term limit for the position. You can resign at any time if you decide this is not for you! Due to changes in the law in 2021, the Board of Directors does not provide any direction, input or decisions on ACC applications. The Board only gets involved if a submission is denied and the homeowner follows the requirements to request an appeal. Directions on how the process works and other information related to this committee will be provided by Crest Management.
